Today, Tomorrow, Forever: Three Diamond Vintage Engagement Ring of the Week

by Elizabeth Doyle October 14, 2015

Vintage three diamond engagement ring from Doyle & DoyleIt was bound to happen – our three diamond Engagement Ring of the Week just flew out the door to a new home! We know there are soon-to-be brides out there hunting for vintage engagement ring inspiration, so we decided to go ahead and share the photos anyway. If you love this ring, we may be able to find you something similar. Email us at info@doyledoyle.com with your ideas, and in the meantime, browse more vintage three stone rings.

Vintage three diamond engagement ring from Doyle & DoyleThis vintage beauty features a center 2ct Old European Cut diamond, flanked by a 1.04ctw pair of Round Brilliant cut diamonds, or over three carats of serious sparkle! Originally made in the 1940s, when wedding sets started becoming popular, this ring nestles comfortably next to a wedding band. We particularly like it paired with our modern bezel set diamond eternity band. But why stop at just one? If you follow our blog, Instagram, or Facebook, you know that there’s almost nothing we love more than a wedding band stack. And although this vintage engagement ring is substantial, its clean and minimalist design allows for a lot of fun combinations. Mix in some sapphires and an Art Deco patterned band to make a unique look that’s all your own.

For the bride who prefers something clean and polished, with a little nod to 1930s glamour, we chose this beautifully draped Anna Maier/Ulla-Maija gown. On the flip side, we also love the sweetly sexy look of this Oscar de la Renta with a detailed lace bodice (and that bow!).

Which one do you think works better? Because when you get right down to it, doesn’t the everything in your wedding follow the ring?
